HOW DO I BOOK?
Once you have contacted me and you are ready to book, I take a booking fee to secure your date. I then send you a confirmation by email along with your contract to fill in and email back to me.
You are then officially booked in my diary! :)
HOW MUCH IS A DEPOSIT/ BOOKING FEE?
I take a non- refundable fee of £300 to secure the booking.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE?
All packages must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU SHOOT ON?
I shoot on the latest Canon mirrorless system.
DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes.
DO YOU TRAVEL AND WHAT IS THE COST?
I travel all over the UK and abroad to shoot weddings, nowhere is too far for me.
For anywhere in the UK that's more than 2 hours away from where I am located there is a small additional fuel charge.
For anywhere outside of the UK , I have additional costs for flights and accommodation and we can discuss a bespoke package.
HOW IS MUSIC SELECTED FOR THE VIDEO?
Due to music copyright laws, mainstream music (for example chart music) is not permitted for use. I pay a subscription to musicbed.com which allows me to use licensed music from hundreds of independent leading composers and emerging artists, I use my skills to choose the perfect music to help tell the story of your day.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR VIDEO?
During the busy wedding season (May - September) it usually takes around 6 weeks.
DO YOU COVER BOTH GRROM AND BRIDAL PREP?
Absolutely! if the distance between where your both getting ready isn't too far I will always try to capture both. Groom prep will usually only need around 30 mins to capture things like parents / groomsmen helping do buttons holes or ties, reading over speeches and drinks with the groomsmen etc. I like to spend around 2 hours for bridal prep and like to arrive 2 hours before the bride needs to leave for the ceremony.
HOW MUCH ARE ADDITIONAL HOURS IF WE WANT YOU TO STAY PAST 9PM?
Additional hours are charged at £100 per hour.
DO YOU NEED TO SEE THE VENUE BEFOREHAND?
No this isn't essential. I have never needed to visit a venue prior to a wedding. I am very used to shooting in new environments, but I always make sure to research your venue in advance, getting myself familiar with the space and its surroundings.
CAN WE SPEAK TO YOU BEFORE THE WEDDING TO GO OVER OUR PLANS AND GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER?
Yes absolutely! All my packages include a pre - wedding consultation, either face to face for couples local to me via facetime/ Skype.
I love chatting to all my couples and getting to know them and hearing all about your plans for the day.
WE ARE QUITE CAMERA SHY, ANY ADVICE?
I love to capture things as they naturally happen, I have a very non obtrusive style. I always have a laugh with my couples as I'm shooting always making sure they are as relaxed as possible.
HOW MUCH IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?
Ideally as soon as possible, as my couples on average book up to 2 years in advance.
